Photo Album: Log Cabin on Radford, VA Farm Ready For Guests!
This log cabin in Radford, VA, sits on a newly purchased farm and was ready to be an Air BnB property until homeowners, April & Matt, pulled back the carpet. Water was coming into the cabin! They called Fortress Foundation Solutions to find a solution. System Designer, Caleb Stone, performed an inspection and provided a free estimate. After reviewing the proposal, Matt & April were ready to protect their investment! It was important not to disturb the aesthetics of this property. Toby Bryant and his crew worked carefully to install an exterior trench drain and discharge line. Now the income-generating log cabin is protected from water intrusion and ready for guests!

Air BnB log cabin owners were worried when they pulled up the carpet and found water coming in. Fortress was happy to help!
Trench Drain
This trench drain will keep any water from flowing under the door or walls.
Trench Drain
Because of the structure, this trench drain was the best solution. Water will flow into it and down to a discharge line into the yard.
Discharge Camouflage
Once the dirt settles the discharge outlet will hardly be noticeable.
