Leah S. has a beautiful outdoor patio on her property. She loves hosting cookouts and grilling for her friends and family. After many years of storing the grill on the patio, she noticed the concrete was cracking around the grill and had sunk underneath the grill creating a tripping hazard. Concerned, she called Fortress Foundation Solutions for a free estimate. One of our systems designers conducted the estimate and offered Leah a permanent solution! Our concrete repair specialist used our PolyLevel Injection Foam, which is an expanding polyurethane foam that is injected beneath the concrete to fill the gaps caused by soil erosion and raise and stabilize the concrete surface. He then filled all the seams between sections of concrete with our NexusPro Joint Sealant. This prevents damage from water getting underneath the concrete where it can freeze and expand in cold temperatures. These pictures show the excellent job he did! Now Leah can entertain her loved ones worry free!
Cracked Concrete
When the concrete is heated due to grill use it expands. This repeated expansion followed by contracting back to original size can cause the concrete to crack overtime.
