Basement Waterproofing - Lynchburg, VA
Challenge
Water intrusion was the issue for this unfinished basement in Lynchburg, VA. The water seemed to be seeping through the walls in the basement. When the homeowner detected this, they called Fortress Foundation Solutions to ascertain what could be done. Our System Designer, Scott Lewellyn visited the house and looked over the basement and decided that the most effective answer for this homeowner would be to install our Water Guard drain system and a Super Sump pump.
Solution
After the free estimate was completed, our Foreman Brian Davis and his crew visited the house to start remodeling this wet basement into a clean, dry space for our customer. They first jackhammered the perimeter of the basement and laid down our Water Guard system at the footer of the wall to catch any water that would seep in. Next, The crew installed our Super Sump pump, which has a Zoeller cast-iron, 1/3 HP pump; capable of pumping up to 2,280 gallons per hour. The customer was very pleased with the work we done for them and were very happy that their wet basement issues were solved!
