French Drain System - Scottsville, VA
Challenge
This Scottsville home had a wet, leaky basement. The home owner had tried other solutions, however she was still receiving water into her basement. After doing some research, she decided to give Fortress Foundation Solutions a call to give her a free home evaluation. Our System Designer Jamey elder went to the home and he concluded that our Water Guard French drain system would be the best option for this basement. With the homeowners approval, we began the production process.
Solution
Our Foreman David Bowers took his crew to the home to begin installing the Water Guard system. This French drain is designed to be installed below the floor slab, resting on top of the foundation footing. This system collects water that seeps through basement walls and it a great option because it is installed quickly and it has a clean, finished appearance. The homeowner was so happy we finally resolved her leaking basement issues!
