Basement Waterproofing - Mount Sidney, VA

Challenge

This homeowner in Mount Sidney, VA called Fortress Foundation Solutions with concerns regarding water coming into the basement of this home. After Heavy rain water would make its way into the home under the foundation. This was causing a big mess for these resident to clean up. They knew it was time to get the problem resolved. Our System Designer, Zach Bullock was able to visit with these homeowners to discuss a solution. 

Solution

Zach knew the best solution to stop this water permanently was to install our WaterGuard system. This system sits on the footer of the home and directs any water to our sump pump. The water is then pumped out of the home though an outside discharge. 

Our Forman, Brian Davis and his crew went out to this home and began to install this system. The crew began by prepping the perimeter of the home for the WaterGuard. Next, the crew laid the WaterGuard and the Sump pump and followed in with crushed drainage stone. The final step was to cover the system with fresh cement. 

With the help of Fortress Foundation Solutions, these homeowners will not have to worry about a wet basement for years to come!
