Basement Waterproofing & Wall Support - Lynchburg, VA
Challenge
This homeowner in Lynchburg, VA had concerns about their home. They had noticed after rain events water would puddle in the basement, causing a huge mess to clean up. Secondly, the homeowner had noticed cracking in the foundation walls. These walls had also began to bow inward. After calling the local experts here at Fortress, our System Designer Zach Bullock was able to go visit with the homeowners to provide a free estimate for a permanent solution!
Solution
After Zach took a close look at the issues the homeowners were facing, he knew the best solution was our WaterGuard system and our PowerBraces. Zach explained that the WaterGuard system would go around the perimeter of the home and catch any water that came in. The water would then go to a sump pump where it would then go out of the home. Then, Zach explained why our PowerBraces were the best solution to help that bowing wall. PowerBraces are long steel beams that are anchored to the wall and help to stabilize the foundation that is failing.
