Basement Waterproofing
Challenge
The homeowners in Vinton, VA noticed water coming into their basement after heavy rain. This was causing major concerns for the homeowners. After calling Fortress Foundation Solutions, our System Designer, was able to go out to this home a provide a free estimate for the repairs needed. After a close look at the home, it was decided between our System Designer and the homeowner the best solution was our WaterGuard system.
Solution
Our Forman, Aj Looney and his crew began prepping the area for our WaterGuard and Sump Pump. Once this area is ready for the system, the crew laid the WaterGuard into the trench. The crew also installed the sump pump and ran an outside discharge from the sump to a certain location in the yard. Next, the crew filled the inside area with crushed drainage stone, and covered the system with fresh cement to make this system complete.
