Wall Crack Repair Keeps Triangle, VA Basement Dry

Solution
Shawn G. of Triangle, VA had water coming into her basement every time it rained. Tired of cleaning up the mess, she called Fortress Foundation Solutions. System Designer Todd Simmons was able to quickly diagnose the problem - a leaking wall crack - and provide the solution - our FlexiSpan. The Flexispan is a flexible sealant that will never dry or crack and ensures a waterproof seal. It also 'flexes' with the movement of the basement walls during season changes. Our installers put up the Flexispan in a few short hours. The process begins with a 2' section of the floor being carefully jack hammered down to the stone bed. Any water coming in would go under the slab. Next, the area around the crack is ground down and the crack is covered with our Flexi-Caulk product. A specially designed material then goes over the crack and it is covered with more Flexi-Caulk using a particular method. The area of application is then smoothed from the floor up. Finally, the WaterGuard is set in the trench and covered with cement. Now Shawn's basement is dry and she doesn't have to worry when the rains come.
