Before
This photo shows what the basement looked like before our crews began work. You can see some staining on the floor from the water intrusion
WaterGuard
Once the crew prepped the area for the WaterGuard, they cut and installed the system and covered it with crushed drainage stone.
After
Once the crew laid the WaterGuard and drainage stone, they followed in with fresh cement to give the area a clean look.
Sump Pump
This photo shows an after image of our sump pump. It is placed at the lowest point in your home allowing water to run through the system, to the sump so it can be pumped out of the home.
Discharge
This photo shows after the discharge lines installed. This white shape that is attached to the home is called IceGuard. The job of the IceGuard is not only to prevent water from getting into it, but to keep water from freezing in the pipes. The location of where the discharge goes is discussed with the homeowners, but the line is underground. Once the crew is complete with digging, they cover the area with grass seed and hay to allow the grass to grow back!
