Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Basement Waterproofing - Roanoke, VA

The homeowners in Roanoke, VA called Fortress Foundation Solutions with concerns about their basement. After heavy rains the homeowners noticed water was coming into the basement. They also noticed damp walls. Fortress was able to send out our System Designer, Caleb Stone, to provide a free estimate. After a close looke, Caleb knew the best solution for the issue the homeowner was facing was our WaterGuard system. This system help to direct water to a sump pump, from the sump the water is then pumped out through an outside discharge away from the home.

Pre pairing the area

Our Foreman, Dj and his crew began work by prepping the perimeter of the basement for the WaterGuard. This system sits on the footer of the home.

Sump Pump

In this phot the crew has laid the system, they have also installed the sump pump. Once both of those products were installed the crew filled in with crush drainage stone.

Final Result

This photo shows the final result. The crew cover the system with fresh cement for a clean finish. We also installed our back up battery for the sump also. The crew installed our Clean Space wall to all the walls in the basement. The purpose of this is to prevent moisture from coming in through the walls. This wall also provides a bright look to the area.
