This homeowner in Halifax, VA called Fortress Foundation Solutions with concerns about water coming into the basement of this home. Our System Designer, Bill Hunter was able to meet with these homeowners to discuss a solution.
After a close look at the home Bill knew the best way to take care of this issue was to install our Water Guard system. This system goes around the perimeter of the basement. It sits on the footer of the home and catches any water that comes in. Once the water is in the Water Guard, it flows to our sump pump where it is then carried away from the home through a discharged that is installed underground.
Super Sump install
In this photo you can see our crew has prepped the area for the system to be installed. This area shows the Sump Pump being installed before the Water Guard is put in place.
Sump Pump and WaterGuard
In this photo you can see the crew has place the Water Guard in the trench with the sump pump. The crew also laid crushed stone over top of the system. The sump pump has also had the discharge lines added to it.
Final Result
This is the final result of our crews work. The final touches were added to make this system complete. The crew laid fresh cement overtop of the system to provide a clean look.
