Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Basement Waterproofing - Halifax, VA

This homeowner in Halifax, VA called Fortress Foundation Solutions with concerns about water intrusion in the basement of the home. Our System Designer, Bill Hunter was able to visit with these homeowners and provide a solution to stop this issue. Bill knew the best solution for these homeowners was out water guard system. This system goes around the perimeter of the basement and allows water to flow to our sump pump where the water is then pumped out of the home.

Sump Pump installation

This photo shows after our crew prepped the perimeter of the home for the system to go in. The crew digs a larger area to install the sump pump. You can see here the sump goes into the ground. The crew will fill around this with crushed stone to fill in any gaps.

Installation of Water guard and sump pump

This photo shows a great representation of our products. You can see in this photo the crew has cut and installed the Water guard, they have also installed the sump pump and ran the discharge lines for the water to leave the system

Final Product

This is the final result of the crews work. The crew laid fresh cement over the system for a clean and flush finish. This basement is ready for the next rain event!
