Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Basement Waterproofing - Lynchburg , VA
These Lynchburg, VA homeowners called Fortress Foundation Solutions with concerns about the basement of this home. The homeowners noticed water was coming into the basement where the wall and floor meet.
After calling Fortress, our System Designer Sonny Kingsbury, was able to go out to meet with these homeowners. After a close look and the issue, Sonny knew the best solution to this problem was our Water Guard system. This system also included a sump pump. The purpose of this system is to catch any water coming in through the foundation and then pump the water out through our sump pump. This results in a dry basement that will not flood.
Before doing work

Water Guard
This photo shows after the crew prepped the area. The have installed the Water Guard after they cut the product to the correct size.
Drainage
This photo shows the discharge line from the sump pump. This is where any water that comes into the water guard will be released to.
Sump pump & Sani Dry Dehumidifier
This is a final look at the completed project. This picture shows our sump pump and dehumidifier. You can also see the crew covered the water guard with fresh cement. Once this area dries you will see a clean finish of the work completed.
