Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Basement Waterproofing and Crawlspace Encapsulation on Sugar Hollow Rd. in Crozet, VA

This home was a special project for our Fortress Foundation Solutions team.  The family residing in the home had a special need to be free of invasive water because of health concerns.  Our system designer went to this property to give the family recommendations.  He knew how important it was to the family to make sure there was no unwanted moisture coming into the home.   Our Fortress Foundation Solutions foreman Charlie Evans and his team started the project by installing DryTrak around the perimeter of the room in the basement that was affected. Next, they installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump system with a battery back up to ensure that even if the power shuts off in a storm, they would not have to worry about a flooded basement!   Charlie and his team continued the project by re-grading the crawlspace, which will also help with water not pooling. As you can see the space, while uncluttered, was very dingy. After re-grading, the crew completed the encapsulation with the drainage matting and CleanSpace vapor barrier to leave the space clean and dry. The family residing here will be living in a healthier environment.  The Fortress Foundation Solutions team was fortunate to be able to help this family.
