Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Edgehill Dr., Collinsville, VA Basement Waterproofing
This Edgehill Dr., Collinsville, VA homeowner called Fortress Foundation Solutions because of the water coming through the concrete block and onto the floor of their basement. Troy King, system designer, met with them, carefully checked the areas of concern and presented a same-day estimate all at no cost. Eager to begin working on a basement remodel, they decided to move forward. Foreman Clarence Copeland (Cope) soon arrived with his crew. They set to work jack hammering a trench around the perimeter of the basement. The WaterGuard drainage was set in the trench and CleanSpace vapor barrier installed on the walls. The WaterGuard was then connected to the Triple Safe sump pump. Any water coming into the basement, at the floor or through the walls, would now be directed down into the WaterGuard and flow to the Triple Safe sump pump where it is pumped out of the home. Once these elements are in place, concrete is used to cover the trench and the waterproofing is complete. Now these homeowners have a dry basement that can be converted to additional living space.
