Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Water Proofed in Stephenson, VA
This homeowner at 106 Taylor Court in Stephenson, VA, reached out to Fortress Foundation Solutions when the water entering her basement became increasingly problematic. System Designer Eddie Salido met with her, explained the solution Fortress could provide, and offered her a same-day estimate. Eager to reclaim the use of her basement, she agreed. Shortly after, Clarence Copeland (Cope) and his crew were on-site installing a WaterGuard drainage system, Triple Safe Sump Pump, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. Now, any water entering the home is drained to the Triple Safe and pumped out. The SaniDry dehumidifier maintains low moisture levels in the basement, reducing the risk of mildew and eliminating musty odors. Happy to be able to use their basement again, Fortress loves to help our customers have safe and healthy homes!
The Triple Safe Sump Pump is our most powerful pump and has a built in battery back up in case of power failure. The SanidDry Sedona removes moisture from the air keeping the basement dry.
Trench for the WaterGuard
A trench is created around the basement perimeter for installation of the WaterGuard drainage system.
Gravel & WaterGuard
The WaterGuard is set and leveled to drain to the sump pump. Gravel fills in around it to assist with drainage.
WaterGuard System & Vapor Barrier
The vapor barrier on the walls, helps to drain any water entering the concrete block down into the WaterGuard.
Concrete Completed
The concrete is added to cover the trench and smoothed over to blend with the original floor.
