This homeowner on Crestridge Rd in Fairfax Station, VA, reached out to Fortress Foundation Solutions when the water entering her basement became increasingly problematic. Riley Ethier, System Designer, met with her, explained the solution Fortress could provide, and offered her a free estimate. Eager to reclaim the use of her basement, she agreed. Shortly after, Nick Mori and his crew were on-site installing a WaterGuard drainage system, Triple Safe Sump Pump, with CleanSpace Vapor Barrier on the walls. Anti-microbial CleanSpace directs any water coming in through the walls down into the WaterGuard. Water entering the WaterGuard is drained to the Triple Safe and pumped out keeping the basement dry. Now this homeowner is happy to have a dry basement!
Mud Remains
Mud on the basement floor remains after water coming in the basement has receded - a big mess!
WaterGuard Trench
A trench is carefully jack hammered along the wall. Next, WaterGuard is set in the trench to drain water to the sump pump. Finally, the WaterGuard is covered over with new concrete.
Triple Safe Sump Pump
The Triple Safe is our most powerful sump pump and has a battery back up so it will work even if the power goes out.
