Chris met with System Designer Brandon Conner, who provided the solution of a WaterGuard Drainage System with a Super Sump Sump Pump. The WaterGuard is a channel drainage system installed in a trench around the basement perimeter. Any water entering the basement flows through the WaterGuard directly to the Super Sump and is pumped out and away from the home. Now Chris doesn't have to worry about his belongings becoming moldy or damaged - his basement is dry!

This Super Sump has two pumps and can handle a high volume of water. The WateGuard trench around the basement and sump pump has been covered over with cement.
WaterGuard Trench
A trench is carefully jack hammered around the perimeter of the basement. The WaterGuard drainage system will be placed in the trench and covered over with concrete.
