Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Restoring Peace of Mind in Glenwood, MD

This customer near Glenwood, Maryland was tired of having to constantly replace their finished basement walls and carpets. Throughout the year, they would get water leaking into their basement, ruining their finished space. They called Fortress Foundation Solutions for help. Our systems designer gave them a free estimate and a solution to their issue. A crew went out and installed our WaterGuard Drainage System and TripleSafe Sump Pump. The WaterGuard collects the water, keeping it from entering the finished space, and lets it flow to the sump pump. The TripleSafe then pumps the water out of the house keeping the basement bone dry and safe from water damage. This homeowner now has their peace of mind restored.

Triple Safe

Here you can see our TripleSafe Sump Pump before it is covered and leveled with concrete. The TripleSafe is capable of pumping out 6,120 gallons of water per hour. In case of a power outage, our UltraSump® battery backup sump pump, set at the highest level, will pump 11,500 gallons or more on a fully charged battery!

WaterGuard

This is a step in the installation of the WaterGuard system. It is leveled with stone to ensure that all the water flows to the sump pump and is pumped out of the basement.

Restoring the Floor

Once our system is in place, the crew covers it with concrete to make sure the floor is flush over our system. WaterGuard is non-intrusive!

Discharge

This is how the sump pump expels the water away from the home to make sure it doesn't flow back to the house. We discretely drill through the wall so that the sump pump can pump the water through these pipes and safely away from the home. You can also see our IceGuards which ensure the system works even in freezing conditions. And of course, the discharge line is backfilled to restore the lawn.
