Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Basement Waterproofing in Free Union, VA
TIto P. of Free Union, VA, reached out to Fortress Foundation Solutions. He had been getting water in his basement and he was unable to use it for storage or for his exercise space. Tito met with a System Designer who provided the solution, a WaterGuard Drainage System with a Super Sump Sump Pump. The WaterGuard is a channel drainage system installed in a trench around the basement perimeter. Any water entering the basement flows through the WaterGuard directly to the Super Sump and is pumped out and away from the home. Now Tito doesn't have to worry about his belongings becoming moldy or damaged and he can use the space again - his basement is dry!
WaterGuard & Trench Drain Installation
This photo shows the installation process of the WaterGuard and trench drain around the water softener to the sump pump.
WaterGuard Trench Completed
A trench is jack hammered around the basement perimeter. The WaterGuard is set and gravel is added. Concrete is then smoothed over to the existing floor.
Finished!
Now that the concrete is dry, flooring can be put on top of the cement for a finished space.
