Botetourt County, VA Detailed Basement Waterproofing & Foundation Repair

This homeowner in Blue Ridge, VA called Fortress Foundation Solutions with concerns about the front stoop to there home. The concrete slab was sinking on one side of the home. Not only was this a safty hazzard but also cause concerns that water would get in between the foundation and stoop and cause serious issues. After our System Designer exsplained the solution, our crew went out to fix the issue. Our crew injected a foam underneath the slab to raise the sinking side, they also put our NexusPro Joint Sealant to seal up any cracks.  After that stoop was raised our crew then powerwashed the stoop to give it a clean fresh finish. 

The homeowners in Roanoke, VA called Fortress with concerns about the water coming in from the walls and floors in the basement. We were able to set this homeowner an appointment free estimate,with one of our System Designers to come out an take a look. After the estimate was done it was clear our WaterGuard system would be the best solution for this home. Our Foreman, and his crew went out to the home and began prepping the area for our system to set in place. Once the WaterGuard was below the footer, around the perimeter of the home, they installed our Supersump sump pump. They then connected a discharge line for the water to flow out of the basement. Once the system was in place they laid crushed stone and covered the system with cement, to give it a clean finish.

Our Foreman, Devin and his crew went out to the home and began to install these products. The crew began preparing the perimeter of the basement for the WaterGuard. Once the WaterGuard is in place, the crew then installed the Triplesafe and Super Sump  sump pump. An outside discharge is also installed on the sump pump to allow the water to be pumped out of the basement.  We also followed in with drainage stone over top of the WaterGuard. This crushed stone allows the water to easily flow to the WaterGuard, and then to the sump pump. Once the system and the stone are laid, new cement is laid over the system to give it a finished look. The end result was a dry basement that would last years to come.
