Concord Crawl Space Encapsulated
Challenge
Water entered this crawl space every time it rained. Although this 1920’s bungalow was renovated in 2008, the crawl space under the home was not. Mold was beginning to grow in the space due to the moist atmosphere. The high humidity in the space was caused by water not exiting the crawl space properly. The drainage systems were inefficient and the sump pump was clogged up with debris and dirt.
Solution
Fortress Foundation Solutions began fixing this crawlspace by removing the old and dirty tarp that was covering the crawlspace floor. This old tarp was replaced with CleanSpace drain matting which allows any captured water to effectively drain out of the space. CleanSpace was also applied to the columns and piers in the crawlspace to maximize efficiency.
