Crawlspace Encapsulation - Rockingham, VA

Challenge

This homeowner in Rockingham, VA had a crawl space that needed some TLC. Moisture was a problem here and also the customer just wanted to make his crawl space more appealing to the eye. He reached out to Fortress Foundation Solutions to transform the area. 

Solution

After our System Designer Zach Bullock went out and looked over the crawl space. He decided the best thing for this homeowner would be our Clean Space vapor barrier and our Sani Dry Sedona dehumidifier. One of our foremen, Brian Davis, took his crew out to Rockingham to begin the conversion.

First, the crew put down our Clean Space vapor barrier to protect the crawl space and give it a neat, clean look. The lining is bright white in color and it really makes the area look brand new. It also keeps the rodents and insects from coming in and making a home. Another plus is that our Clean Space liner keeps cold winter air out of the home above.

In addition to the vapor barrier, the crew also added a Sani Dry Sedona to control the humidity levels in the crawl space and to keep the area dry and moisture free. This dehumidifier is very energy efficient as well, while removing more moisture than other conventional dehumidifiers.
