Crawl Space Encapsulation - Danville, VA
Challenge
A client in Danville, Virginia called fortress as a result of they were tired of their damp crawl space. the area had a dirt floor that continuously stayed damp. The excessive wetness within the crawl space began to rise throughout the entire home over time. This affected the air quality in the house and mold was additionally becoming a risk for this homeowner. Once they spoke with us, we sent one of our System Designers Chris Guill to the home to provide a free, no obligate estimate. Chris then planned what he thought would be the most effective solution; our Clean space vapor barrier.
Solution
Once the customer approved of this option, the production process began. one of our Foreman David Bowers and his crew drove to Danville to start the work. They began by laying down drainage matting that goes underneath the vapor barrier. Next, the totally encapsulated with the Clean space liner. This fully seals the crawl space so that no moisture can enter the area and it also keeps away those unpleasant smells. Another additional advantage of this vapor barrier is that it keeps mold spores from rising throughout the home. Therefore, it improves the air quality within the house, not just in the crawl space. The crew finished the work and left the house knowing their customer was very pleased with the entire process.
