Crawl Space Encapsulation - Collinsville, VA

Challenge

The homeowners in Collinsville, VA began to notice issues with their crawl space. After rain events water was making its way into the crawl space making a muddy, smelly mess. After calling Fortress Foundation Solutions, our System Designer, Caleb Stone was able to provide a free estimate. 

Solution

Caleb knew the best solution to this issue was to encapsulate the crawl space. Our Foreman, Robert Ellis and his crew began working on this crawl space. The crew began by getting any water out of the area, once that was complete they began to level the area so the dirt was flat. The crew then installed our drainage matting and cleanspace. They laid both of these products though out the crawl space and taped ends together for a seamless look. Finally the crew installed our SaniDry dehumidifier to elevate any moisture that may come into the crawl space.   

This encapsulation insures a healthy crawl space for years to come.
