Crawl Space Encapsulation - Charlottesville, VA

Challenge

This crawl space in Charlottesville, VA was having issues with heavy mold and mositure. The homeowners called Fortress Foundation Solutions to provide an estimate to get this problem resolved.

Solution

After calling Fortress our System Designer, Bill Hunter was able to go provide an estimate for an encapsulation. Our Foreman, Aj Looney and his crew installed our Clean Space vapor barrier, this barrier protects the crawl pace while also provide a bright and clean look. The crew also installed our SilverGlo insulation to better insulate the area from more humidity and moisture. Finally the crew installed out SaniDry dehumidifier to elevate all moisture in the crawl space.

In this photo you can see the crew has leveled the crawl pace some, and they have installed the SilverGlo and also the drainage matting.

This is the final result. The Clean Space goes over top of the drainage matting and it also goes up the wall a little bit to insure a sealed crawl space
