Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation - Natural Bridge, VA

This homeowner in Natural Bridge, VA was having issues with the crawl space in their home. The crawl space was very unpleasant to look at, there were heavy levels of moisture in the area that was causing mold growth. After calling Fortress Foundation Solutions, our System Designer, was able to go out to this home and provide an estimate for a permanent solution. After a close look at the issues that were at hand, it was determined the best solution would be an encapsulation of the crawl space. Our Foreman, Aj Looney and his crew installed our Clean Space Vapor barrier, SilverGlo Wall insulation and our SaniDry Dehumidifier.

Drainage Matting

In this photo you can see that the crew installed our Drainage Matting. The purpose of the drainage matting is to help direct any water that comes into the area to drainage system and sump pump. This makes it no water gets trapped, instead it is directed to the correct area to be pumped out of the crawl space.

SilverGlo & Clean Space

This photo shows after the crew installed our SliverGlo insulation. The SilverGlo helps to insulate the area to keep it at a regulated temperature. SilverGlo is installed under the Clean Space.
