Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawlspace Encapsulation - Weyers Cave, VA
The homeowners in Weyers Cave, VA called the experts at Fortress Foundation Solutions to take a look at the crawlspace of their home. Our System Designer, Chris Wilmouth was able to come out to this home and provide a free estimate. After a close look at the crawlspace Chris knew the best solution to fix this crawlspace would be an encapsulation.
Our Forman, Aaron Looney and his crew installed our SilverGlo insulation as a thermal insulator for the crawlspace. Then the crew installed our Clean Space vapor barrier, this barrier protects the home from the outside elements while also giving the crawlspace a bright and clean look. Finally the crew installed our SaniDry Dehumidifier to help regulate the moisture in the crawlspace.

SilverGlo
The crew has installed the SilverGlo to the walls. This SilverGlo is not like your typical insulation. SilverGlo is a foam board, this helps to be a thermal insulation while also is an effective radiant barrier.
CleanSpace
Once the SilverGlo is installed, the crew then taped our CleanSpace to the wall also.
SaniDry
This is our SaniDry Dehumidifier. This dehumidifier helps to keep the moisture levels low in the crawlspace
