Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Before and After Crawlspace Encapsulation with SaniDry Sedona
This homeowner residing in Arlington had an unprotected crawlspace that was affecting the air quality of the home. The space was damp resulting in an environment tailored for mold growth and mustiness. Fortress Foundation Solutions went out and gave the homeowner a free estimate. Our system designer proposed a full encapsulation with our durable 20-mil poly-reinforced CleanSpace liner which seals the space and prevents water vapor and humidity from seeping in through the ground and walls. We also included a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier which filters out any allergens like mold spores and dust mites, and it also keeps the air at a desirable humidity level.
Crawlspace After Encapsulation
Once encapsulated, the space is clean, dry, and protected and can be used for extra storage space.
Finished Encapsulation
After the encapsulation, there is no more risk of moisture vapor coming into the crawlspace and compromising the health of the home or its residents.
SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier
The SaniDry Sedona is the last part of the encapsulation and ensures the air that the residents are breathing is clean and dry.
Crawlspace Before Encapsulation
Before, the crawlspace is open to any moisture and humidity coming from damp soil.
Crawlspace Before Encapsulation
A crawlspace that is not encapsulated is subject to changes in humidity and unclean air coming up into the home.
