This homeowner was experiencing severe settlement issues throughout his home. The brick on the outside of the house was beginning to completely separate. It almost appeared as if the bricks were bowing, like one might normally see with concrete block walls in a basement. Along with the bricks being affected by the settlement issues, the front porch was also separating from the rest of the home.
Solution
Fortress Foundation Solutions addressed all of this home’s issues by installing push piers. With a total of 6 push piers, Fortress was able to better support this home. All of this additional support helped address the problems of the separating bricks and the gap between the porch and the home. Push piers counteract the effects of sinking foundations and are very reliable to ensure the problems will not continue to arise.
