Sagging Floors - Crozet, VA
Challenge
Moisture continued to get into this crawl space. Due to the high humidity levels, the wooden support beams in the crawl space collected that moisture and they became weak. This was causing the floors above the area to sag and bounce. The homeowner called Fortress Foundation Solutions to see how we could help them. Our System Designer Scott Lewellyn came to the home and looked over their crawl space. He decided the best solution would be our Smart Jacks.
Solution
Our foreman Brian Davis took his crew to the home to begin the installation. They installed our Smart Jacks, which help straighten and strengthen sagging, bouncy floors above a crawl space. this galvanized coated steel will not rust and there are no worries about it rotting like wood support beams would.
