Double Walled Foundation In Roanoke, VA, Needs Permanent Solution
Challenge
Kay D. of Roanoke, VA called Fortress Foundation Solutions after noticing stair step cracks in the foundation of her home. She was able to quickly get an appointment with Sonny Kingsbury, system designer. Sonny came out to provide a free estimate and found an interesting scenario. To prevent further settling, the previous homeowner had poured a new foundation wall inside the home! This was an unsuccessful solution to a very serious problem.
Solution
Based on his extensive training and knowledge of foundation issues, Sonny was able to provide a solution and Kay agreed! Soon experienced foreman Toby Bryant and his crew were onsite installing exterior push piers. These are steel rods that go under the home's foundation footer to provide support where needed. Now Kay doesn't have to worry about settlement in her home. She has a successful, permanent solution!
