Leaning Retaining Wall Secured for this Alta Vista, VA Returning Customer
Challenge
Two years prior, Edward S. of Alta Vista, VA had his crawl space encapsulated by Fortress Foundation Solution. He was so pleased with this installation that when he noticed his 11-feet tall retaining wall starting to lean, he called Fortress again. Edward had previously met with system designer Zach Bullock, and was happy Zach was able to come out again. After inspecting the wall, Zach provided a free estimate.
Solution
Concerned this high wall might soon pose a serious hazard, Edward agreed to move forward. Foreman David Bowers and his crew were sent to install GeoLock Earth Anchors. These anchors are attached to the leaning wall on one side and the anchor portion is driven through the ground and fastened at the other end under the ground. They are guaranteed to permanently hold the wall in place. Now this very tall retaining wall is permanently secured and Edward can enjoy the safety of his home again!
