Challenge

A homeowner near Oakton, VA had multiple stair-step cracks around their chimney. They were concerned as chimneys can settle over time, effecting the foundation. They knew who to call - Fortress Foundation Solutions. Dave Mauldin, System Designer, came out for an inspection and free estimate.

Solution

He diagnosed foundation settlement around the chimney. Push Piers, steel rods driven hydraulically under the footer of the home, were recommended to support the foundation and prevent further damage. Soon, a Fortress steel crew was on-site installing the push piers. Now this home is stable once again!
