Recently, at Fortress Foundation Solutions, we encountered an intriguing challenge near Catawba, VA. A homeowner was distressed by bad odors permeating their home and sagging floors, a sign that the crawl space beneath their home was not in the best shape. Understanding the urgency of their situation, and how it affected their home’s comfort and structural integrity, they reached out to us for a reliable solution.

Solution

After contacting our Customer Care team, a System Designer promptly visited their home for a thorough inspection. It became clear that the core issues stemmed from inadequate support and moisture issues in the crawl space. To tackle this, we proposed the installation of our SmartJack system to stabilize and lift the sagging floors, paired with a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier.
