Foundation Repair Photo Album: Sagging Floor Gets New Lift in Vesuvius, VA
This Laurel Hollow Rd, Vesuvius, VA, homeowner called Fortress Foundation Solutions after their floors were sagging. Brandon Conner, system designer, recommended Smart Jacks. Smart Jacks are steel jacks attached to a main beam or support beam to carry the weight of sagging floors. The crawl space was already encapsulated so Warren Dickerson and his crew set to work. They opened the vapor barrier, laid down sand for the footer and installed the Smart Jacks under a supplemental steel beam. Once the jacks were in place, the encapsulation material was sealed back up. Now this homeowner has floors that are level and secure again!
