Pittsylvania County, VA Detailed Basement Waterproofing & Foundation Repair

This homeowner in Hurt,VA called Fortress with concerns about a water coming into the basement. This water coming in also caused an unpleasant musty smell. Our System Designer,  was able to go out to the home and give these homeowners a piece of mind with a permanent solution. The best way to fix this issue was installing our WaterGuard system, along with ourTriple Safe  sump pump. Our Foreman, Aj  and his crew went out to the home and began to install these products. The crew began preparing the perimeter of the basement for the WaterGuard. Once the WaterGuard is in place, the crew then installed the Triplesafe sump pump. An outside discharge is also installed on the sump pump to allow the water to be pumped out of the basement.  We also followed in with drainage stone over top of the WaterGuard. This crushed stone allows the water to easily flow to the WaterGuard, and then to the sump pump. Once the system and the stone are laid, new cement is laid over the system to give it a finished look. The end result was a dry basement that would last years to come.

The homeowners in Gretna , VA started to notice a musty smell in there home, along with standing water in the crawl space. While having concerns on fixing the problem they called Fortress to come take a look. Our System Designer, Scott went to assess the situation. He came up with the best solution for the homeowners; encapsulate their crawl space.

Our Production team went out to install drainage matting, CleanSpace Encapsulation, condensate pump and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. All of these components together allow the crawlspace to remain free of water by draining the water out of the crawl space and keeping it clean from any outside factors.  The Forest homeowners final product of the home was a clean crawl space that will last years!

Alice B. of Echo Ln in Ringgold, VA called Fortress Foundation Solutions after her floors were sagging. System designer, Sonny Kingsbury, went out to meet with Alice. After inspecting her crawl space, specifically checking the floors, he offered her a solution. Alice agreed and soon a Fortress crew was onsite installing SmartJacks. These floor supports are installed under a supplemental support beam and then raised up to support the original floor joists. Now when Alice walks around her home, her floors are level again!
