A customer called Fortress Foundation Solutions because they were concerned about moisture in their crawlspace. Crawl spaces are built on top of the earth. Most are not encapsulated with open, exposed dirt. This dirt contains the moisture that is naturally occurring in the ground. Many times water will actually pool inside the crawl space, causing mold, mildew and nasty smells. Our EZ Flow pipe fixes this problem. It will drain the ground water carrying it to the sump pump. This keeps pools of water from forming, keeping the earth dry.

Dan M. called Fortress Foundation Solutions with concerns about water in his basement, resulting in high moisture levels. He had tried to fix it himself, but his methods were unsuccessful. A Fortress Foundation Solutions System Designer completed an inspection and offered a free estimate. Ready for a permanent solution, Dan agreed. A Fortress crew installed a WaterGuard drainage system so all water entering the home flows to the sump pump. The Triple Safe sump pump has a closed lid so moisture and bad odors aren't released from the sump pump and a battery back up. Now Dan has the dry basement he always wanted!
