This Front Royal, VA homeowner contacted Fortress Foundation Solutions because they had noticed the floors in their home had started to sag down a significant amount. Fortress went out to their home to do an inspection and noticed that the concrete columns had started cracking, which was why their floors started to drop. Fortress informed the homeowner that our SmartJacks System would be the best solution for them! Fortress went out to their property and installed our SmartJacks System into their crawl space. This beams in this crawl space were starting to crack because it was not properly supported. This can lead to bowing floors and cracks in the ceiling and walls of the house if left untreated. Fortress installed a series of SmartJacks to support the foundation of this home and ensure it will not have any future problems.

Their crawl space was dark, damp, musty and hard to access! System designer, Riley Ethier, was happy to meet with them, explain the encapsulation products and provide a free, same-day estimate. Agreeing to this solution, they decided to move forward. Foreman Edgar and his crew were soon onsite installing drainage matting, CleanSpace vapor barrier, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep things dry. Now this crawl space is dry and the homeowner can enter the clean and bright area for loads of added storage space!

They had recurring  flooding and mold in their crawl space.  Fortress came in to rake, level, and properly install a CleanSpace liner in the customer's crawl space to ensure there would be no more mold and flooding.
