This house in Lynchburg had a retaining wall that was cracking and bowing in toward the steps to the basement door. The homeowner called Fortress Foundation Solutions to see what could be done to prevent any further issues. A Fortress System Designer went to the home and assessed the issues. The System Designer decided that two GeoLock Wall Anchors were needed to secure the wall in place. Wall anchors work by extending from your wall to the stable, hard packed soil beyond your home. They anchor into these stronger soils and brace the foundation wall, preventing further movement. Wall anchors are installed with minimal disruption to your lawn, and they won't damage the interior of your basement or take up usable space. Now this wall is stable and will not continue to move!

This homeowner wanted to eliminate water from entering their basement through their crawlspace. Our team installed our EZ flow drainage system & Smart Sump Pump to remove the water from this area. They then completed a full CleanSpace encapsulation to ensure the space would stay clean and dry in the future. 

In order for this homeowner to confidently put a grand piano in their home, our team needed to instal ten SmartJacks. We also fully encapsulated their crawlspace with CleanSpace, SilverGlo and a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier.

Troy King, system designer, performed an inspection and recommended a sump pump. Angela decided to be protected in all situations and chose the Triple Safe sump pump. This pump, with its battery back up, is our most powerful pump. The battery is constantly charging and ready to pump if the power goes out. Our waterproofing crew, led by Clarence Copeland aka 'Cope', was able to install the sump pump with a trench drain to feed into the pump. Now when it rains, Angela G. is worry free!
