The foundation in this basement was bowing and had horizontal cracks along the walls. Fortress installed Carbon Armor straps along the wall to stabalize the foundation.
This home in Madison, VA was having some water intrusion issues in the crawl space of the home. The crawl space not only had water but it was there was also a lot of moisture. After calling Fortress Foundation Solutions, we were able to send our System Designer to provide a free estimate. The System Designer knew the best solution would be an encapsulation.
Our Forman and his crew were able to install the following products to ensure a moisture and water free crawl space. The crew installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to protect the area from the outside elements. This clean Space also adds a very bright look to the area. We also installed out Smart Pipe and SmartSump Crawl Space Sump Pump System to transfer water and pump it out. To help control the moisture in the crawl space the crew also installed our SaniDry Dehumidifier.
We lifted and leveled the concrete on the side walk and stairs of this estate to remove any trip hazards this may have presented. This allowed the homeowners to list their home on the market with the confidence in knowing their concrete wouldn't cause any issues with potential home buyers.
Jack J of Madison, VA had been living in His home for the past 30 years. Since moving in, the foundation had a small horizontal crack along the front-facing wall. Over the last 3 years, the crack had gotten worse and that wall had started to bow inward. Our system designer, Jamey Elder, recommended installing GeoLock earth anchors along the front-facing foundation wall and Jack agreed. Foreman Toby Bryant, and his crew installed 7 GeoLocks, securing this foundation wall and preventing any further damage.
This property in North Garden had a porch that had sunken and was uneven with large cracks.
Our System Designer went out and determined that our PolyLevel Injection System would be able to fix this problem.
The foreman went out and strategically drilled holes in the concrete where injection ports were installed. Polyurethane foam is injected beneath the concrete to fill voids and raise the slab. The holes and control joints are then sealed. NexusPro Crack Repair was used to seal all cracks and joints.
