Fortress Foundation Solutions Before & After Photos

Mrs. Johnson called Fortress Foundation Solutions to come out and provide a free inspection and estimate to encapsulate her home's crawl space. She had noticed musty smells in her home for a while but was unable to figure out why. She read online that moisture and humidity in crawl spaces could be the cause and decided to get it checked out.

Danny, one of our expert System Designers, went out to Mrs. Johnson's property to perform an inspection and concluded that her crawl space was suffering from high humidity, moisture, and organic growth, all contributing to the musty smell she had been noticing. He presented these findings to Mrs. Johnson, along with a proposal to fix the issues he had found. Mrs. Johnson was happy with our offerings and decided to move forward with the recommended work.

One of our crews was then scheduled to go out and do a full encapsulation of the crawl space. We utilized our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System, which starts off with our Delta Drainage Matting and is then covered by the CleanSpace barrier. Mrs. Johnson also elected to install one of our Sedona Dehumidifiers to fully protect her crawl space from moisture and humidity.

Mrs. Johnson reported that the musty smells have stopped and that she is so pleased to have her crawl space fully protected!

Tripping hazards can be very worrisome for homeowners. This home had a severe drop in their concrete that needed to be lifted and stabilized.  System Desinger, Paul Heckman, provided these homeowners with the confidence to know that our Poly Level Foam solution could solve this problem permanently. Our Foreman, Mickey Knight and Co-Foreman, Dom Wells, brought this garage and driveway back to its original state, leaving these homeowners with the peace of mind knowing this has been taken care of! 

Crawl spaces can begin to smell very musty and funky if not taken care of. Our System Designer, Danny Camunas, created a system that would eliminate these smells from ever coming back for this new homeowner. Foreman, Adam Mills, and his crew installed a beautiful system that this homeowner is now proud to look at and know it will never smell again. 

During a light rainstorm passing through Staunton, Virginia, Ms. Baker went downstairs to her finished, carpeted basement and ended up with wet socks. Her basement had flooded.

She Googled “wet basement repair” in her area and called us at Fortress Foundation Solutions. System Designer Joe went out to inspect the source of the water and found groundwater seepage pushing its way through the floor/wall joints. He put together a repair plan, and not too long after, we sent Gustavo and his crew out to take care of the job.

They started by removing the ruined paneling along the walls. Then, they jackhammered the floor around the perimeter and installed our WaterGuard system. After that, they laid clean crushed stone around the WaterGuard and resealed the floor with concrete.

They also covered the walls with our CleanSpace Wall System to prevent any moisture from seeping through the porous concrete walls. They finished off the job by tying everything into a TripleSafe sump pump system and left Ms. Baker’s basement clean, dry, and healthier than when they first arrived!

This customer had some concerns about cracked and unlevel concrete in his home, so he reached out to Fortress Foundation Solutions, who sent out our System Designer, Danny Camunas, to come take a look. After a thorough inspection, Danny designed a solution and gave him an estimate that same day. Shortly after, our Foreman, Mickey Knight, and his Co-Foreman, Dom Wells, came out and injected our PolyLevel Foam under the concrete to raise it up, making it nice and even. Our customer loved the result!
