Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

The basement of this home in Blacksburg had issues with water intrusion. The homeowner reached out to Fortress for a solution to this problem.

Our System Designer, Zach Bullock, went out to assess this home and determined that the best solution would be to install our WaterGuard XL System along the perimeter of the basement, along with a SuperSump sump pump.

Our WaterGuard System is designed to capture any wall or floor seepage before it reaches the basement floor, any water will then drain to the SuperSump and be pumped out of the home. Together these products will ensure that this homeowner will never again have to worry about a wet basement!

This owner was tired of getting water in their finished basement. Our team came in and installed our WaterGaurd XL drainage system and Smart Sump Pump to eliminate the chance of water ever entering their home again. 

A previous customer called Fortress Foundation Solutions when water started to leak in their basement where they did not waterproof it. Previously, they had a Smart Sump System with WaterGuard installed against one wall. Water eventually started leaking in on the other wall of the basement. This is why Fortress recommends waterproofing an entire basement instead of just the area where it is leaking from. To completely waterproof this basement, Fortress installed a full perimeter WaterGuard and a CleanSpace Liner. We also installed a SaniDry Sedona to keep the air dry. Now, the basement will stay clean and dry!

This home in Blacksburg had issues with the foundation, the semi-basement, and the crawlspace. The basement was leaking, the crawlspace was moldy, and the walls were bowing. This property is owned by a local church for community purposes. It was apparent that there was a serious water leak that the church board knew need to be addressed.
