Entering this crawl space, one is initially hit with a terrible smell. This smell is the cause of the humidity and moisture in the space. The homeowner realized that the smell was a problem due to the poor drainage systems they had in the space; water was not exiting the crawl space properly. Fortress Foundation Solutions was approached by these homeowners to waterproof and encapsulate their crawl space in hopes to be able to transform it into usable storage afterward. This home’s crawlspace was able to be encapsulated and waterproofed easily.
