Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

This crawl space in Lynchburg, Virginia was having some problems with water intrusion. The homeowner had an existing sump in the crawl space but it was not operating well enough to keep up with the amount of water in the crawl space. Fortress Foundation Solutions went to the home and fully encapsulated the area with our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier. We also replaced the sump pump the homeowner had with our SmartSump Crawl Space Sump Pump System. 

This crawlspace in Lynchburg was leaking and moldy. The dirt floor was covered in a thin layer of plastic that did not stop water and mud from getting in. The insulation was damp and falling down. Fortress solved these problems by installing a CleanSpace Encapsulation with a SmartSump Crawl Space Sump Pump System and SilverGlo Insulation to ensure that this crawlspace will stay clean and dry!

This homeowner wanted to take care of the standing water, falling-down insulation, and mold and mildew growth so he agreed. Warren Dickerson and his crew were soon onsite removing the old, wet insulation and installing an Ultra sump pump with battery back up, new insulation, CleanSpace vapor barrier and a Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier. Now Gavin and his family live in a home with a clean, healthy crawl space!
