The crawl space of this home in Brunswick stayed damp and musty, and needed some help.

Our System Designer, Curt Withrow, went out to this home and recommended that the best solution to this problem was to install a complete CleanSpace encapsulation, along with SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier.

After investigating, he discovered mildew and moisture beginning to damage his wooden floor joists and falling down, moisture-saturated insulation. The plastic he had tried to put down inside the space was not keeping the moisture under control. Soon Warren Dickerson and his crew were onsite installing drainage matting, SilverGlo insulation and CleanSpace vapor barrier. This Appomattox, VA home had an issue with drafty floors and rodents entering the structure and needed a solution to prevent further damage.

Our Systems Design Specialst, Jamey Elder quickly cam to evaluate the situation. He concluded that the crawl space would need a CleanSpace Liner and Foam insulation along the rim joist. With a plan in place, Cole Mauck and his production team came to the home to start the project. 

CleanSpace Liner was placed in the crawl space and mechanically fastened to the walls and applied foam to the outer band of the space.
