Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

A homeowner near West Friendship, MD, called Fortress Foundation Solutions about a crawl space encapsulation needing more storage space for a growing family. Their crawl space was dark, damp, musty and hard to access! System designer, Zack Bullock, was happy to meet with them, explain the encapsulation products and provide a free, same-day estimate. Ready to move forward, they agreed. Foreman, Travis Farmer and his crew were soon onsite installing drainage matting, CleanSpace vapor barrier, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep things dry. Now this crawl space is dry and the homeowner can enter the clean and bright area for loads of added storage space!

This crawlspace in Manakin Sabot was dirty, unusable for storage, and had water damage from repeated flooding. Fortress solved these issues by installing a CleanSpace Encapsulation System and a SmartSump System with a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. Now this crawlspace will stay clean and dry!

This crawl space was in rough shape when the home owner called us out to give an estimate! Years of water intrusion had caused mold, wood rot, and sagging insulation. Riley, one of our system designers put together an estimate and proposal for the customer which included installing our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System to fully encapsulate & waterproof the crawl space. We then added several of our SmartJacks to support the main beam of the home and prevent further floor sagging. 

Luke G. of Spencerville, MD, needed some work done on his crawl space. There were soft spots in his floors and he knew there was water in his crawl space damaging the joists. He called Fortress Foundation Solutions. Skylar Beverage, System Designer, was immediately able to see damage done by years of moisture and wetness - wood rot and mold! He offered Luke a same day proposal that was much less than a competitor and Luke agreed. Soon foreman, Warren Dickerson, was onsite installing a Smart Sump sump pump and drainage system to get rid of the water. Next, the SilverGlo insulation, Drainage Matting and CleanSpace vapor barrier sealed the crawl space. Finally, the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed to keep the humidity low. Now Luke doesn't have to worry about moisture causing future damage to his floors. Her crawl space is clean, dry and healthy!
