After calling Fortress Foundation Solutions, setting an appointment, and receiving an inspection and recommendation from one of our system designers, they chose to accept our proposal to fix their settlement issues for good! We turned to our Helical Pier system to stabilize and restore the position of their foundation! Helical piers are a great option for stabilizing foundations or other masonry elements and we're so glad that we were able to utilize them for these clients!

This homeowner near Woodbine, Maryland was experiencing issues with sagging floors. They noticed a crack in the wall by their bedroom door frame, which is a common symptom of settlement. Knowing Fortress Foundation Solution's expertise in this area, they called for a solution. Our system designer went out and gave them a free estimate and presented a plan to solve their issue. Our crew then went out and installed SmartJacks to stabilize and lift the floors back to their original position. The floor was stabilized and lifted, and even closed the crack! Home is where your family is, and your pets! For one poodle owner, that meant wanting to correct the bowing walls in her basement in Frostburg, MD. With the help of our System Designer, Dave, and installation crew, the perfect solution was curated. We installed GeoLock wall anchors and Power Braces to support the walls and prevent future bowing. Additionally, we waterproofed the basement with our Water Guard drainage system and SuperSump sump pump. It is important to us to give our customers, and their furry friends, a dry and stable basement!
