Ray agreed and foreman, Warren Dickerson, was on the job installing the solution - PowerBraces. These steel I-beams are secured to the joists above the wall with steel brackets. This system reinforces the wall stopping any further bowing. Now this Scottsville, VA home is ready to go on the market!

A customer near Rohrersville, MD had a horizontal crack all the way around their basement. They learned about Fortress Foundation Solutions on a TV commercial and decided to call the All Things Basementy company for a free estimate. Fortress went out and installed our PowerBrace System. The PowerBraces permanently stabilize your home's foundation walls. Zinc-plated steel beams are custom-fit to your basement wall height and secured tight against your basement wall with brackets anchored to your basement floor and floor joists. PowerBrace's unique, patented design allows the system to be tightened over time, potentially reversing wall failure without any invasive drilling or digging on the property. Fortress also replaced the old ceiling insulation that was moldy with spray foam insulation. It is a better insulator and mold proof. This homeowner can now rest assured knowing that their foundation is stabilized and insulated!

This home in Gladys, VA had major crack going across the foundation wall in the basement. After calling Fortress Foundation Solutions, our System Designer was able to speak with the homeowners and provide them a solution using our PowerBrace System.

Fortress Foundation Solutions installed a perimeter WaterGuard french drain system, TripleSafe sump with external discharge, and installed GeoLock wall anchors for foundation stabilization. We were also able to use the GeoLock wall anchors to stabalize a retaining wall supporting the customer's driveway.
