This homeowner in Warrenton contacted Fortress Foundation Solutions because they had some concerns about their foundation. There were several stair-step cracks on the outside walls of the house.
Fortress solved this problem by installing our Push Piers. Push Piers feature a patent-pending external sleeve that strengthens the pier at the critical tension point below the bracket. They are installed next to the footings and attached with a heavy duty steel bracket. Soil is backfilled around the piers once stabilization and lifting is complete to finish the installation.
The foundation walls of this home in Broad Run were starting to bow. The homeowner reached out to Fortress for a permanent solution for stabilizing those walls.
Our System Designer, Zach Bullock, went out to assess the home and recommended our PowerBrace System to support and stabilize the foundation.
The PowerBrace system permanently stabilizes your home's foundation walls. Zinc-plated steel beams are custom-fit to your basement wall height and secured tight against your basement wall with brackets anchored to your basement floor and floor joists. PowerBrace's unique, patented design allows the system to be tightened over time, potentially reversing wall failure without any invasive drilling or digging on the property.
